See the bunnies sleeping til it’s nearly noon, I like to ride my bicycle I ride it to the shopsĪnd when I see the traffic lights I know I have to stopĪlong came a crocodile as quiet as can be, I’m a dingle dangle scarecrow with a flippy floppy hat Up jumped the scarecrow and this is what he said When all the children were sleeping, and the sun had gone to bed There were 3 in the bed and the little one said “roll over, roll over”, Mummy (or Daddy) duck said “Quack Quack Quack Quack”Īnd they all went swimming on their back, back, back They all jumped into the pool where it was nice and cool,ģ Little ducks went swimming one day, over the hills and far away They looked left and right but they didn’t like the sight,ģ Little speckled frogs sat on a speckled log eating the most delicious grub, Along with some of the traditional songs and nursery rhymes, we also have some of our own songs and adapted versions of traditional songs that we use.Īlthough it doesn’t take long to pick up the words to these songs, we still thought it might be helpful to put together a few of our favourites and some of the most commonly used songs in classes: Our Welcome Songĥ little babies / children on a flying saucer, At Baby Squids we use a lot of songs in our swimming lessons to help children feel at ease in the water, but also to make the lessons enjoyable for both parents and children.
